Monterey
I spent some of the weekend down in Monterey to pre-ride the Sea Otter cross country course on Sunday. Nope, I'm not doing the racing, I was just along for the ride. The scenery was pretty - lush green hills criss-crossed with fireroads and some other trails. It was lush because the "Sunny and 50" forecasted for Sunday really meant "cloudy with a little drizzle and 40".
Thanks to the miracle of technology, it is even now possible to share the ride with everyone else. Not that anyone cares, but I myself was surprised at the "we have the technology" factor.
